![]() ![]() "Unleash deadly abilities and an arsenal of devastating weaponry to obliterate the relentless Tyranid hordes," the announcement says. ![]() Maybe the Inqusition were reasonable, eh? No, seems unlikely, doesn't it. While the first game ended with Titus saving the day then being taken into custody on suspicion of heresy and being tainted by Chaos, apparently he's back in his big boots for the sequel. ![]() Ultramarine boy Captain Titus will return, this time cutting into the Tyranid hordes. Spoice Mahreen was a lovely wee stompy hack-and-slash game, capturing the chunky feeling and ultraviolence of futurefascists in a way no other 40K game had. That or Guilliman on his return sprung him (because why have we locked up a veteran Space Marine captain with apparent warp immunity that has sat quietly in a cell for 200+ years) and we're up to somewhere around 150/200 M42 by the time of Space Marine 2.The actual biggest surprise of The Game Awards was the announcement of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, a sequel coming a decade after Relic's chainsword-wielding action game. I do think it would be odd for him to get service studs while locked up by the Inquisition but if he was working for them during that time (I mean you have someone who presumably isn't a Pariah but who is apparently resistant to the Warp) and then returned to the Ultramarines that might account for it. That leaves us with a minimum of 250 years (probably better to say 300+) between Graia and the 13th Black Crusade on 999 M41 and then an indeterminate amount of time between that and the Ultima Founding and Indomitus Crusade during which time Titus could have crossed the Rubicon Primaris. The Battle for Macragge was 745/746 M41 which means the events of Graia had to happen at some point before that. This is probably reading too much into hilariously contradictory fluff (we're already past this stage but fuck it), but at the time of the First Tyrannic War and the Battle for Macragge, Agemman was captain of the 2nd Company as he was made First Captain when Saul Invictus fell. Yeah, I think Lexicanum has it that it went Titus -> Severus_Agemman -> Cato Sicarius -> Sevastus Acheran for captaincy of the 2nd Company and for Titus it has been probably been about 200+ years (based on the service studs going from 2 gold, to 4 gold) but that doesn't mean much if he was involved in a lot of warp travel. /r/GamePhysics - Clips of game physics shining and glitchingĭesign based on /r/FlatBlue created by /u/creesch./r/gaming4gamers - middle ground between purely-for-fun and more serious subreddits./r/GamingLeaksAndRumours - Leaks and Rumors.Posting unmarked spoilers will result in removal and warning, and posting spoilers with malicious intent will result in a ban.
